"The billing was way more confusing than it should’ve been"
I signed up thinking I was choosing a monthly plan, because that’s how it looked to me when I went through the checkout. Then I got charged for the entire plan all at once, which was frustrating because I definitely wasn’t expecting that amount to come out right away. Maybe the details were technically somewhere on the billing page, but they weren’t clear enough or obvious enough, at least not in the moment when I was signing up. I kept looking back thinking I must have missed something, but it really felt like the pricing could have been explained much more plainly. I contacted support hoping they’d actually clarify it or help sort it out, but the replies felt like copy-and-paste responses that didn’t really address what I was saying. Overall, the whole billing experience left a bad impression.

"Not sure if it was just me, but the matches felt off"
I kept getting matched with people who were either way too far away or didn’t really have much in common with me. Maybe I’m being too picky, but it felt like the app just wasn’t showing me people who actually fit what I was looking for.

"Support got slow after I paid"
At first everything seemed fine, but after I made the payment, support started taking a while to reply. It made me feel a bit uneasy, like I wasn’t sure if they were still going to follow through. They did eventually respond, but the delay definitely made me less confident.

I tried using this for a bit, but it just feels scammy. So many profiles look fake or suspicious that it’s hard to trust any of it. Like, if the whole point is to meet real people, why am I seeing this many obvious fake accounts? Make it make sense

Signing up was straightforward, but the verification part took longer than I expected. I was kind of just waiting around and wasn’t really sure what was going on, something about it felt a bit unclear. It did go through in the end though, so it wasn’t a huge deal, just a little annoying...

silversingles was okay overall. I did end up chatting with a few real people, and the site itself was easy to figure out, which I appreciated.

That said, for what they charge, I expected a bit more. Some profiles didn’t seem very active, and having to pay before you can really do much felt frustrating. I get that companies need to make money, but it would be nice to give people a fair chance to see if it’s right for them first.

It’s not a bad site, just not the best value in my opinion. I might consider using it again if they offered a more reasonable plan, especially for people who are just trying to meet someone genuine without feeling pressured to spend so much upfront.

I was hoping there’d be more active people in my area, but it feels empty. I checked around and barely saw anyone nearby, which kind of makes the whole thing feel pointless for me...

"Sorta frustrating to use"
I tried using SilverSingles, but it was sorta hard to get the hang of. The pages felt slow, and the layout wasn’t very clear, so I kept ending up in the wrong places when I was just trying to change basic settings.

Maybe other people have a smoother time with it, but for me it got annoying quickly. For a dating site, I feel like it should be a lot easier and more straightforward to use.

"Free account doesn’t really get you far"
I tried the free account, it didn’t do much. I could see a few matches, but I actually couldn’t really talk to anyone unless I paid. It ended up feeling like a waste of time.

"Profile setup kept looping on me"
I tried setting up my profile, but it kept freezing and then asking me the same questions again. After the third or fourth repeat, I started noticing the same pattern every time: enter info, freeze, restart, repeat. Frustrating when all I wanted was to get through the setup and move on.

"Canceling was way more annoying than it needed to be"
I tried to cancel my silversingles subscription and it turned into way more of a hassle than I expected. The cancellation steps weren’t clear at all, and I ended up clicking around forever just trying to find where to stop the renewal.
What made it even more frustrating were all the pushy reminders and prompts trying to get me to stay. Even after I thought I had canceled, I still wasn’t totally sure it had actually gone through. For a paid site, this should be quick and simple. I wouldn’t sign up again because of how annoying the whole cancellation process was

"Auto renewal caught me off guard"
I got charged again because of auto renew, and it wasn’t clear enough to me when I signed up. Trying to cancel was way more annoying than it should be, and support didn’t really give me much help. I only noticed after money was already gone. I wouldn’t use it again. If you do sign up, check settings carefully.

"Feels like reports just disappear"
I reported a couple of fake profiles and then just kind of waited, thinking something would happen quickly, but days went by and nothing changed. The profiles were still there, no update, no response, nothing. It feels like the reports just go into some void, which is frustrating when you’re trying to help keep the place clean.

I ended up disappointed, honestly. Most of the matches I was seeing near me felt way older than what I was looking for, and there just weren’t many age-appropriate options. I was hoping for a better mix.

"Refund took forever and felt a bit sketchy"
I cancelled my SilverSingles.com account soon after signing up, but trying to get my refund was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. Customer support kept sending me these generic replies that didn’t really answer what I was asking, so it felt like nobody was actually reading my messages. I had to follow up more than once and still never got a straight answer. The whole thing also made me wonder if there were some hidden fees or fine print I missed, because the refund process just wasn’t clear at all. I’m not saying the site itself is completely unusable, but the way they handled this left a bad taste. I definitely wouldn’t sign up again...

"The location matching was completely off"
I signed up for SilverSingles thinking I’d actually be matched with people nearby, but that was not my experience at all. I feel stupid for trusting that a dating site would at least get something as basic as location right.

Most of the people it showed me were 2 to 4 hours away, and a few were in totally different states. I kept checking my settings because I thought maybe I had done something wrong, but nope, it just kept happening.

For a service like this, local matches should be the bare minimum. Instead, it felt like I paid to scroll through people I’d realistically never meet, which was just frustrating and a waste of money.

"Pretty decent, but the site can drag at times"
I’ve had an okay experience with SilverSingles overall. The site does what it’s supposed to do, and I like that it’s fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. That said, it can be frustratingly slow sometimes, especially when I’m trying to open profiles or check messages. It’s not unusable by any means, but for what it costs, I’d expect it to feel a bit smoother and more reliable.

"Too many inactive profiles"
I signed up thinking I’d actually get to meet people, but a lot of the profiles I came across seemed like they hadn’t been touched in ages. I sent a few messages and expected quicker responses, but most of them just sat there with no reply for days, sometimes longer.

After a while it started to feel like I was paying just to scroll through old or abandoned accounts. I’m sure there are some real active users on there, but based on my experience, it really didn’t feel worth it.

“All they care about is taking your money! The website is absolutely terrible to navigate. I would strongly advise seeking assistance elsewhere.”

How can I obtain a complete refund? I believe this website is a fraudulent scheme aimed at taking money from me. If I do not receive a full refund, I will report this company to the appropriate authorities. I have already made a payment for a 6-month subscription.

After paying for a 6-month subscription, I am unable to sign in and would like to request a complete refund. I am unable to utilize the site and have no interest in continuing to be a part of it.
